Shedua Guibourtia Ehie
Shedua is in the same family as Bubinga and is also known as Ovangkol. The wood is moderately coarse, with an interlocked grain that produces striped and, sometimes, curly figure. Our Curly Shedua is figured nicely and ranges in color from light yellowish brown to dark greyish brown. Shedua is hard, heavy and takes a glass-like finish.
