Eucalyptus Eucalyptus obliqua Pale brown to light brown, somewhat silvery. The Eucalytus tree has reported to reach heights of 300 feet with trunk diameters of 36"-48". Boles are often straight and long. The wood is coarse and open texture; straight grain with fiddleback or curly figure. Also called Messmate Stringybark, or Brown-top Stringybark.
